Photography has a way of bringing people together. It’s one of the many reasons why I’m so in love with this industry. I was approached by Natasha for some design work for her make up artistry business, and the idea of boudoir photography blossomed from our endless conversations. The plans started falling into place, and we have our first group of boudoir sessions are scheduled for this March. We have six beautiful women lined up for our first sessions, and I am so thankful for their trust and bravery.

Since I flung myself into boudoir photography, I have been shamelessly perusing the inter webs for inspiration and techniques, and I realized that my inspiration stood in front of me the whole time. Every woman is beautiful. They may be blinded by their own insecurities, which I am guilty of as well, but I am convinced that I want to be the one to show them how gorgeous they really are. Boudoir isn’t about just doing yourself up on the outside, but it’s building yourself up on the inside. Ladies, it’s okay to feel absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, so let’s show off your cheeky smiles, the stories your skin shares, and the eyes that allow you to see the world together!

In preparation for our sessions and the many more hereafter, Natty was gracious enough to model for me yesterday. I will let the photos speak for themselves, as she is too stunning for words. She was born to do this.
