We collected a list of frequently asked questions that we thought might help you along your journey.

What is the dynamic of a wife and husband photography team on a wedding day?

If you choose a package where the two of us will be shooting the day usually begins with us splitting up during the “getting ready” chapter of the day. I (Lisa) shoot with the bride and Brandon shoots with the groom. We then either meet up before the first look or the ceremony (depending on what the couple has chosen) and carry on together from there. I am constantly switching from a documentary perspective to a role of directing and curating during family formal portraits and wedding party photos. Brandon helps me out with family shot lists, holding bouquets and gets creative with shooting at different angles. We love being a fly on the wall during the getting ready portion of the day at the same time enjoy connecting by becoming creative with our couples and their friends and family during portrait time!

We’re having a hard time with a timeline and photo locations, can you help us?

Hells ya fam! I’m here to help in any way that I can. If you’re having trouble nailing down a timeline for the wedding day, I can lend some advice for how long things take, how much buffer to leave between events and lend knowledge of locations for photos! You’re not alone and we’re here to help!

How do you feel about Unplugged Ceremonies?

We love ‘em! Not only does it give us an opportunity to shoot your meaningful ceremony without distractions from guests trying to take photos themselves, but it gives your closest buds and fam permission to be entirely present for the ceremony. By doing this, it gives a whole new vibe to the ceremony and your photos will be even better because of it.

How many photos will we receive?

The number of delivered photos differ from each wedding, since no two weddings are the same. As a rule of thumb however you can expect approximately 50-75 high resolution, edited images for every hour of coverage. So that means for an 8 hour wedding, a couple could receive about 400-600 great images to relive their love story. For Family sessions you can expect a minimum of 40 images for a typical hour long session.

How will we receive the photos?

Your photos will be delivered via an easy-to-use online gallery. You will be able to view and download all the high resolution edited images through the gallery – it’s super super easy! You can also create a list of favourites through the gallery and share with family and friends. There’s also an option to print your photos directly from the gallery. We encourage all our couples and families to print their photos so their story can tangibly come to life. It’s a whole new experience once you’re holding cherished memories in your hands!

We’re pretty stoked to see our photos, when can we see the final gallery?

Trust me, I’m excited for you to see them too! The entire process of editing the gallery can take about 8 weeks to send off to our couples. But, I’ll do my best to get you some kickass sneaks before the gallery is delivered.

I have more questions… what now?

Shoot us an email with as many details as you can and we can have a sweet conversation over FaceTime or Skype (with coffee or wine in hand). Getting to know our couples is something I absolutely love about what we do. The more I know about you, your story and your day, the better our storytelling flourishes and compliments your forever love. We’re so looking forward to meeting and getting to know you!
