The Scarborough Bluffs were bustling with laughter from the many families that filled the park on a Sunday evening; a prefect scene for a maternity shoot. It was only fitting to be surrounded by energetic children during our shoot with Ang + Matt because they are weeks away from becoming parents for the first time.
Now, I may have a biased opinion as she is my sister, but my gosh, Ang has been absolutely glowing the past few months with her pregnancy. She has proven to me once again like all the other female influences in my life that the beginning of motherhood is a beautiful stage. Ang has been training to become a mom since we were young, bright, up-to-no-good girls. She has been watching out for me in particular ever since I was born, and I know she’s going to be the best mother ever. Her husband Matt (brother-in-law-extraordinaire) is full of life and is a very hard-working man, and I am confident that together, they will give their new baby all that they have as parents.
Some would think that Ang + Matt are crazy to not want to know the sex of their baby, but there is just something nostalgic yet refreshing about this tradition. I can’t wait to meet our new niece or nephew. Trust your Aunt Lisa little babe, you are going to be so loved.
