I had been looking forward to shooting with Kaitlin + Ryan for weeks leading up to their engagement session. Kaitlin and I emailed back and forth and scheduled the perfect day to meet up at Lynde Shores Conservation Area in Whitby. We gathered our gear on an early Saturday morning and headed up to Whitby. On our way there the rain clouds started to roll in and I really tried not to notice their presence looming over our heads. We arrived at Lynde Marsh and exchanged quick hugs and got right into shooting.
Jenn + Doug’s April wedding will always hold a special place in my heart. It pulled at my heart strings not only because the bride and groom were wonderful, warm people, and not only because of the beautiful glamorous decor, but because it was my first wedding of the year! What Jenn + Doug don’t know was that I was counting down the days leading up to their wedding and I was so excited to meet them and to capture their wedding story.

The excitement in Ashley’s text message early on Saturday morning set the tone for the whole day for me. She wasn’t the only one who was saturated with delight for our upcoming time together, as I have been looking forward to shoot Ashley and her charming fiancé Mike for weeks.
